A final system which helps users confidently navigate Sydney buses by displaying the right information in the right way

For the final prototype, I decided to switch it up a bit – the main change was that instead of using Sydney bus routes I decided to use Singapore bus routes. This was to test the system and how people interacted with it as if they were a new user in a new country.

The the changes I made were:

  • Champion suburb names and bus stops as this is the information people would use to navigate public transport. Similar to how we use train stations, we figure out where we have to go to based on the suburb name.

  • Place the map as a secondary way of searching for a bus stop because a map function in a simple eSign could be too complicated

  • Follow the F–shape pattern for reading content to guide users to the correct information
