Building the user platform with a student engineer and Claude, with a focus on simplicity of use and good user experience

I wanted to ensure the platform built was scalable. I hired and worked with a second-year computing science student alongside primarily using Claude to build the platform.

I gave my dev Figma-created screens with annotations ensuring clarity when building. Specific prompt engineering focused on a no-assumptions plan allowed me to optimise agents to achieve the builds I wanted at a lower cost.

I ran through rounds of iterations of certain features, using AI to quickly prototype, to remove friction for the user whilst still ensuring the complexity of features within the platform ecosystem are implemented and easy to find.
