About Me

It’s difficult for me to describe what sort of designer I am – but I would say that I am strategic experience designer. I love crafting a impactful and meaningful experiences – from brand to systems – underpinned by a people-first attitude which appreciates the nuances of why designs work or not.

In other words: I overthink designs so you don’t have to.

Since young, I loved adventuring between worlds in Club Penguin to Star Wars, I have always enjoyed cool digital spaces, been curious about why things are the way they are, and an odd passion for PowerPoint animations. My love for strategy and developing creative solutions only grew when I entered university studying Visual Communications, with my design & marketing agency experience further refining these passions.

Outside of design, I’ve worked doing very different things – a long-term team member at Kmart, leading a squad as a Navy Coxswain, a morning unpacker for Dotti, an overnight Etsy business owner, a cold-call sales rep, a church youth leader, and an enthusiastic mentor at university. These experiences have grown me into appreciating how good communication & intentional care can have a large and noticeable impact on the work and people around me – even in the most seemingly menial of jobs.

That’s why I struggle to label myself as a specific type of designer because I am passionate about creating that ‘wow’ moment in peoples’ lives – whether it be branding, UX/UI, socially, economically, or experientially.

I am a sucker for and suck at trivia games, a chicken katsudon lover, goalkeeper for futsal, right-back for outdoor soccer, trying to improve my shooting at basketball, interested in policies (not politics), and trying to sing better!
